Komentovaný překlad: Queer literatura - rozporuplný vznik žánru

Abstract

Cílem této práce je přeložit text Queer Fiction - The Ambiguous Emergence of a Genre a vypracovat k němu komentář. Komentář se dělí do čtyř částí. První část je překladatelská analýza výchozího textu, následuje popis metody překladu, dále rozebírám hlavní překladatelské problémy, jež při práci vyvstaly, a uvádím jejich řešení s odůvodněními, která mě k řešení vedla. Nakonec rozebírám posuny, které se v překladu oproti originálu objevily.

The aim of this thesis is to translate the text Queer Fiction - The Ambiguous Emergence of a Genre and make a commentary. The commentary is divided into four parts. The first one is an analysis of the source text, it is followed by a description of the method of translation I used. The third part threats the main problems I faced while translating, including their solution and their explanations. In the final part, I analyse shifts between the original and translated texts.
