Změna orientace chilské ekonomiky z Velké Británie na USA

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zbývá popisem chilské ekonomické závislosti na Velké Británii a postupnou reorientací chilské ekonomiky na Spojené státy. Hlavní těžiště práce je v analýze struktury ekonomických a politických vztahů které společně tvořili základ dominantního postavení velmoci. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována odvětvím s výrazným podílem zahraniční účasti. Jedná se hlavně o těžbu ledku a mědi a v menší míře o bankovnictví. Práce popisuje také vývoji finanční a peněžní politiky Chile a její dopad na politickou situaci a pozici zahraničního kapitálu.

Theses aims at providing description of the dependence of Chile on Great Britain and the reorientation of the Chilean economy from Great Britain to United Sates. The main subject is the analysis of the structure of the economic and political relationships between Chile and the dominant power. Special attention is given to areas with significant foreign participation. Among these belong the nitrate and cooper extraction and in lesser degree banking. The work also gives description of the development of the monetary and economic policy of Chile and its effects on the foreign capital.
