Autorka: Alexandra Matiásková Název práce: Bioetika ΙΙΙ - Eugenika - historie a současnost Forma: Diplomová práce Název školy: Univerzita Karlova v Praze, Farmaceutická fakulta v Hradci Králové Studijní obor: Farmacie Cíl a zadání: Cílem této diplomové práce bylo rešeršním způsobem zpracovat historický vývoj eugeniky, její současnost se zaměřením na asistovanou reprodukci, prenatální diagnostiku a prenatální preimplantační diagnostiku a řešení této problematiky v následujících zemích - Česká republika, Německo, Velká Británie, Izrael, Čína, Spojené státy americké, Kanada. Hlavní poznatky: Hlavní principy eugeniky byly popsány Platónem již před 2400 lety. Obdobím jejího největšího rozmachu můžeme označit konec 19. a především první polovinu 20.století, kdy se ve společnosti ujaly její negativní myšlenky a projevy. Kvůli zneužití principů eugeniky nacistickým Německem pro zdůvodnění holocaustu je dodnes samotný pojem stigmatizován. Vymezení pojmu a šíře eugeniky je velmi sporné. Někteří autoři ji považují za aplikovanou lidskou genetiku s projevy jako je prenatální diagnostika či preimplantační genetická diagnostika. Principal information: The main principles of eugenics were described by Platon before 2400 years. We can determine the period from the end of the 19th to the first half of the 20th century as the biggest boom of the eugenics when its negative ideas and manifestations were accepted in the society. The word itself is stigmatized because of the abuse of eugenic`s principles for the justify holocaust in the Nazi`s Germany. Demarcation of the eugenics is very disputed.
