Česká postmoderní architektura bankovních domů a spořitelen po roce 1989 do konce 20. století

Abstract

Tato práce pojednává o architektuře bankovních domů a spořitelen v 90. letech 20. století na území ČR, jako jistém fenoménu spojeném s kulturně-společenskou změnou a situací v české architektonické scéně po roce 1989. Potřeba nových bankovních domů přinesla do našeho městského a maloměstského prostředí specifické architektonické formy ovlivněné doznívajícím postmodernismem. První část se snaží obecně charakterizovat podobu změny české architektonické scény v devadesátých letech a v rámci ní vymezit tyto dosud stylově neidentifikovatelné, často individuálně výtvarně pojaté stavby bankovních budov. Zároveň zohlední otázku, do jaké míry můžeme mluvit v českém prostředí o postmoderní architektuře a poukáže na etický problém, který se k tomuto architektonickému stylu váže. Druhá část se snaží obecně charakterizovat a typologicky rozlišit architekturu bankovních domů a spořitelen v přiloženém katalogu. Na závěr se práce pokusí vysvětlit, proč je fenomén architektury bankovních domů a spořitelen spojen s etickým problémem poukazující na tyto stavby jako představitele architektonického nevkusu.

This study deals with teh architecture of banks and savings banks in the nineties of the twentieth century in the Czech Republic as a certain phenomenon associated with cultural change and social situation in the Czech architectural scene since 1989. The need for new bank buildings brought into our urban and small-town environment specific architectural forms associated with the influence of lingering postmodernism. The first part attempts to characterize the general change on the Czech architectural scene in the nineties and to elucidate these stylish yet unidentified, often individually artistically conceived structure of bank buildings as a part of it. At the same time take into account the question of to what extent we can speak about postmodern architecture in the Czech culture environment and points out the ethical problem related to this architecture style. The second part tries to characterize the general architecture and typologically distinguish of banks and savings banks in the accompanying catalog. Finally, the work attempts to explain why the phenomenon of architecture of banks and savings is associated with the ethical problem, which reffers to such buildings as the representative of architectural bad taste.
