Abstract

STÁRKOVÁ, Zuzana, Vývoj finanční gramotnosti, Praha, 2012. (Diplomová práce). Zuzana Stárková - Univerzita Karlova v Praze - Husitská teologická fakulta. Vedoucí práce, Prof. PhDr. Beáta Krahulcová, CSc. Tématem této diplomové práce je finanční gramotnost a je zaměřena na problematiku a nebezpečí finanční negramotnosti. Úvodní část se zabývá objasněním pojmu finanční gramotnost, jejími příčinami a důsledky. V dalších kapitolách se věnuje gramotnosti peněžní, jejíž neznalost způsobuje časté problémy v oblasti využívání úvěrů a půjček a následně způsobuje komplikace zadluženosti. Vysvětluje důležité pojmy, jejichž znalost je nezbytná při využívání bankovních služeb a produktů. Poslední kapitoly teoretické části popisují zákon o ochraně spotřebitele a zmiňují také dva důležité pojmy, exekuce a insolvence. Výzkumná část diplomové práce se zabývá znalostmi a zkušenostmi z oblasti financí u vysokoškolských studentů.

Main topic of the diploma thesis is financial literacy, more specifically the risk of its consequences. First part of the thesis deals with definition of financial literacy, its causes and consequences. Next chapters are devoted to monetary literacy, ignorance of which causes many problems in the area of credits, loans and subsequently may lead to indebtedness. This part of the text defines important key words, whose knowledge in essential for using of banking services and products Last chapters of the theoretical part introduce the Consumer Protection Act and the issues of seizures and insolvency. Main objective of the practical part of the thesis is to carry out a research among university students in order to summarize the level of their awareness, knowledge and experience in the financial area.
