Epistémická modalita: španělské probablemente, posiblemente, acaso, tal vez a jejich české ekvivalenty

Abstract

Epistémická modalita vyjadřuje různý stupeň jistoty mluvčího ohledně platnosti výpovědi. Jedním z prostředků jejího vyjádření ve španělštině jsou lexikální výrazy typu probablemente. Následuje-li po těchto výrazech sloveso, může být v indikativu nebo subjunktivu. Podle normy záleží při volbě modu na míře jistoty mluvčího. Norma je v této práci konfrontována s příklady z korpusu, tj. územ. Podrobně se popisují faktory ovlivňující volbu modu. Dále se analyzují české ekvivalenty zkoumaných výrazů.

Epistemic modality expresses the speaker's degree of confidence about the content of the proposition. One of its realisations in Spanish is lexically through adverbials such as probablemente. If these adverbials are followed by a verb, it may be in indicative or subjunctive form. According to the norm, the choice of the verb mood depends on the degree of speaker's confidence. In this study the norm is compared with examples from the corpus - the usage. Factors that influence the choice of the verb mood are thoroughly described. Czech equivalents of the analyzed formulations are also analyzed.
