Abstract

The thesis deals with social work at hospital, exactly with job descripton of social worker at hospital, with support which he receives during performance of work and conditions under which he performs the work. In the theoretical part there are defined terms social work and social worker, his competence and approach to clients, hospital, patient and client. It also deals with ethical codex. Then it deals with disability and its types. It deals with family and educational styles, situation of families with child with disability, different social benefit from social welfare scheme which they can be entitled to and social services which they can use. It discusses also attitude of parents to children with disability and process of coping with this reality. Next part deals with social work at hospital, defining social work at the hospital, his education and job description requirements. There is also mentioned the term quality of life, which should social worker bear in mind during work with clients. In practial part there is analysed work of social workers at the hospital with the aim to describe their amount and activities. Diplomová práce se zabývá sociální prací v nemocnici, respektive náplní práce sociálního pracovníka v nemocnici, podporou, které se mu při výkonu jeho práce dostává a podmínkami, za kterých tuto práci vykonává. V teoretické části práce jsou vymezeny pojmy sociální práce, sociální pracovník a jeho kompetence a přístupy ke klientům, nemocnice, pacient a klient. Zabývá se také etickým kodexem. Dále se věnuje zdravotnímu postižení a jeho typům. Věnuje se rodině a výchovným stylům, situaci rodin s dítětem se zdravotním postižením, různým dávkám ze systému sociálního zabezpečení, na které mohou mít tyto rodiny nárok a sociálním službám, které mohou využívat, přístupu rodičů k dětem se zdravotním postižením a procesu vyrovnání se s touto skutečností. Další část se již věnuje sociální práci v nemocnici, vymezení sociálního pracovníka v nemocnici, požadavkům kladeným na jeho vzdělání a náplni jeho práce. Zmíněn je také pojem kvalita života, který by měl mít sociální pracovník při práci s klienty na paměti. V praktické části je analyzována činnost sociálních pracovníků v nemocnici s cílem popsat jejich počet a činnosti. Nejdříve je vymezena použitá výzkumná strategie (kvalitativní), výzkumná metoda a výzkumná technika, a dále analyzována získaná data.
