Jak jsou žáci středních škol vzdělaní v oboru biologie virů

Abstract

Biologie virů je obor, kterému se ve výuce věnují 2-3 vyučovací hodiny. Během těchto hodin žáci musí vstřebat informace nejen o stavbě a funkci viru, ale i rozmnožování tohoto mikroorganismu, několikero zástupců a v neposlední řadě také onemocnění, která způsobují, jaká existuje prevence a léčba těchto onemocnění. Studenti si pamatují, k čemu slouží vakcína, koho virus napadá, jak se mohou nakazit nebo co je to imunitní systém. To, co studentům dělá problém, jsou otázky typu: které z onemocnění není virové, z čeho se skládá virová částice nebo co je infekční onemocnění. V RVP G je učivo určeno jen velmi nekonkrétně. Učitel má tedy jistou volnost při tvorbě ŠVP a svých příprav. K dalšímu zpřesnění toho, co by měl student znát k maturitě, slouží katalog požadavků zkoušek společné části maturitní zkoušky, v tomto případě z biologie, který obsahuje rozepsané výstupy učiva ze všech biologických oborů.
