Tschechen und Deutsche in Aussig an der Elbe im 20. Jahrhundert. Geschichte und historiographische Reflexion.

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o soužití Čechů a Němců v Ústí nad Labem ve 20. století. V první části práce je pozornost věnována především sociálním a kulturním aspektům česko-německého soužití, tedy spolkům, organizacím a zařízením, jež jsou líčeny na pozadí historických událostí ve zmiňovaném období. Stranou nezůstává ani politický vývoj města a proměny ve složení jeho obyvatelstva od počátků německé kolonizace až do roku 1950. Druhá část se zabývá současnou reflexí česko-německého soužití v regionu, a to zejména na pracovištích místní Univerzity Jana Evangelisty Purkyně či v projektech společnosti Collegium Bohemicum. Je zde také nastíněno, jakým směrem se v tomto městě uchylují česko-německé vztahy.

This bachelor thesis deals with the coexistence of Czechs and Germans in Ústí nad Labem in the 20th century. In the first part of this thesis, I will focus on social and cultural aspects of Czech-German coexistence and pay attention to the associations, organisations and facilities which are depicted in the backround of historical events in the mentioned period. I also refered to the political development and changes in the composition of its population since the beginning of German colonization until 1950. The second part deals with the reflection of the current Czech-German coexistence in the region, particularly at the workplaces of the local University of Jan Evangelista Purkyně and in the projects of the Collegium Bohemicum. It also outlined how Usti nad Labem will participate in the Czech-German issues in the near future.
