Evropská dimenze ve vzdělávání jako nástroj rozvoje evropského občana

Abstract

Tato diplomová práce si klade za cíl prozkoumat vznik, vývoj, obsah a p edevším smysl evropské dimenze ve vzd lávání s d razem na rozvoj evropského ob anství. Teoretická ást práce sleduje, jak se prom nilo chápání ob anství v druhé polovin 20. století a v nuje pozornost vývoji a formálnímu vzniku evropského ob anství. Klí ová ást práce je zam ena na legislativní proces zavád ní evropské dimenze do koncep ních materiál na úrovni íslušných evropských institucí a p edstavuje základní teoretické poznatky, jež se k tomuto procesu váží. Pozornost je p itom v nována takovým aspekt m evropské dimenze, které svým obsahem a zam ením napomáhají rozvíjet p íslušné kompetence související s evropským ob anstvím. P edstaven je rovn ž nástin integrace evropské dimenze do eského národního kurikula. Obsah empirické ásti práce je v nován analýze reálných ob anských znalostí, postoj a aktivit eských 14letých žák , jejímž cílem je zjistit, nakolik se u t chto žák da í rozvíjet vybrané kompetence související s evropským ob anstvím a jakou úlohu v tomto ohledu hraje škola, kterou navšt vují.

The aim of the diploma thesis is to examine the formation, evolution, content and especially the purpose of the European dimension in education with an emphasis on the European citizenship development. The theoretical part of the paper focuses on the transformation in understanding of the concept of citizenship during the second half of the 20th century and on the development and formal establishment of the European citizenship. The key part of the paper focuses on the legislative process of integrating the European dimension into the strategic documents on the European level and introduces the main theoretical approaches to this process. The paper analyzes the aspects of the European dimension which helps to develop relevant competences related to the European citizenship. It also examines the integration of the European dimension into the Czech national curriculum. The empirical part of the paper is dedicated to an analysis of the 14 years old students' actual civic knowledge, attitudes and activities that reveals the extent of their civic competences related to the European citizenship and the role of the school they attend.
