NOVINY TĚŠÍNSKÉ (pokus o analýzu šestého ročníku)

Abstract

Ve své diplomové práci se pokusím provést analýzu šestého ročníku Novin Těšínských, který vycházel od prosince 1899 do konce listopadu 1900 a mapoval politickou, sociální, hospodářskou a národnostní situaci na Těšínsku. Byl psán v češtině, což souviselo s jeho orientací na českou národní skupinu žijící v tomto regionu. Dané téma jsem si vybrala hned z několika důvodů. Prvním z nich je skutečnost, že ze sledovaného kraje pocházím a mám k němu poměrně silný citový vztah. Dětství jsem strávila ve Frýdku-Místku, kde stále žijí mí rodiče, tudíž pro mě obce a místa zmiňovaná v příspěvcích v listu nejsou jen prázdnými pojmy. Druhým důvodem je fakt, že uvedený region se nachází na okraji zájmu historického bádání a jeho stav, i přes atraktivitu a množství námětů, nebyl doposud detailněji prozkoumán nebo zachycen. Což je velká škoda vzhledem k množství zajímavých témat souvisejících zejména s národnostním složením regionu. Přelom 19. a 20. století ve sledované oblasti byl velmi bohatý na události nejen regionálního, ale i celo-rakouského a světového významu. Třetím důvodem je specifičnost Těšínska, především jeho národnostní složení. Kromě složitých česko-německých vztahů se na stavu sledované oblasti odrážejí také poměry česko-polské a německo-polské. In my dissertation I focused on the sample analysis of the sixth year of the edition of the Noviny Těšínské (the Newspaper of Tesin) which had been published from December 1899 to the end of November 1900 and how the newspaper reflected events and relationships not only in the region of Tesin, but also outside of it. The core of my dissertation are relationships among three national communities living together in the region at that time-the Czechs, Poles and Germans (one of the chapters also monitors the Jewish religion community and the local people's attitude to it). Reciprocal conflicts among the above mentioned national communities appeared in all areas of everyday life - in education, economy, language, matters, politics, in the relationship to the monarchy and also to events happening in the world. The region of the Tesin was a part of one of the Crown lands - Silesia. In spite of that fact the newspaper wasn't restricted only to the events from this Crown land but also the information from other territory of the Czech Crown kingdom, news from the Austrian-Hungary Empire and even from all the world can be met there.
