Osmijazyčný slovník ze 16. století (rok vydání 1586) a analýza jeho slovní zásoby z hlediska tematického

Abstract

Předmětem zkoumání této diplomové práce byl osmijazyčný slovník z 16. století vytištěný na přelomu let 1585/1586 ze sbírek Pedagogického muzea J.A. Komenského v Praze. Slovník postrádá jakýkoli titulní list, a proto není znám původ slovníku, autor, ani jakému okruhu uživatelů měl slovník sloužit. Cílem této diplomové práce bylo pomocí překladu, analýzy témat konverzační příručky a analýzy slovní zásoby z hlediska tematického potvrdit nebo vyvrátit hypotézu, zda byl slovník určen obchodníkům a cestovatelům, čemuž by nasvědčovaly malé rozměry slovníku. Teoretická část diplomové práce se zabývá lexikografií. Předkládá definici a dělení slovníků, přičemž větší pozornost věnuje slovníkům překladovým. Následuje vývoj českého slovníkářství od jeho počátku až do současnosti. S ohledem na to, že součástí slovníku je i konverzační příručka, zabývá se teoretická část i tímto tématem. Dále je představen život v 16. století s cílem přiblížit dobu, ve které slovník vznikal. Praktická část vyvrátila hypotézu, že měl slovník sloužit pouze obchodníkům a cestovatelům. Z výsledků, které přinesla tato diplomová práce, vyplynulo, že slovník byl zamýšlen pro široký okruhu uživatelů, což potvrzuje samotný úvod slovníku a všeobecná slovní zásoba obsažená ve slovníkové části. The object of this diploma thesis is an octalingual dictionary from 16th century from the collections of the Pedagogical Museum J.A. Komenského in Prague. The title page of this dictionary is missing and therefore the origin, the author and the range of users, who the dictionary was intended for, are not known. The aim of this diploma thesis was to confirm or disprove the hypothesis that the dictionary should have served tradesmen and travellers. The methods used were translation, language analysis of the phrase-book and the thematic analysis of the contents of the dictionary. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis deals with lexicography. It introduces the definition of a dictionary and various types of dictionaries with the most attention paid to translational dictionaries. Thereafter, the development of Czech lexicography from its beginning until nowadays is presented. The theoretical section also contains some facts about phrase-books. Furthermore, the time of 16th century is described with the aim to present the period when the dictionary was produced. Regarding the hypothesis mentioned above, the linguistic analysis has brought these results.
