Abstract

This thesis is an ethnograp. It aimes to show the process of the identity change and the change of the character of the relationships. hic study of the situation of an immigrant called Lina from Bangladesh in Italy. The framework of the "gendered geographies of power" was applied in this work, a tool designed by Patricia R. Pessar and Sarah J. Mahler for the topics related to migration processes. It encompasses the influance of gender in the relations in and between different levels of social reality (state, body, family), then the location of the person in the power hierarchies developed from historical, political, economical, parental etc. factors and in the last place the agency of the people involved. The thesis is based on the materials from a fieldwork, a situation when the researcher is in a direct and intimate contact with the daily life of the informant. Tato diplomová práce je etnografickou studií situace imigrantky Liny z Bangladéše v Itálii. Snaží se postihnout proces přeměny identity a typu vztahů a poukázat na vliv mocenských sítí globálních i lokálních, především genderového charakteru. V práci byl aplikováno hledisko genderových geografií moci, nástroje, který pro analýzy témat spojených s migrací navrhli autorky Patricia R. Pessar a Sarah J. Mahler. Tak je dle nich zohledňováno působení genderu ve vztazích mezi různými úrovněmi sociální skutečnosti (stát, tělo, rodina), dále umístění člověka v mocenských hierarchiích vzniklých za působení historických, politických, ekonomických, příbuzenských a dalších faktorů a agency akterů. Práce je založena na materiálech získaných v průběhu terénního výzkumu, tedy v momentu, kdy je výzkumník v přímém až intimním kontaktu s každodenností informátorů. (zúčastněné pozorování) Pro studii bylo využito i narativního rozhovoru, který dal informátorce prostor k sebevyjádření a studie tak získala autentický hlas a svědectví o tom, jak svůj život konceptualizuje. V práci bylo předvedeno, jakým způsobem je její situace v emigraci (i její zahájení) ovlivněna původem a globální socioekonomickou situací.
