Abstract

Alloriho portrét Marie de'Medici v Kunsthistorisches Muzeum ve Vídni Veronika Kunešová Resumé Ústředním tématem mé bakalářské práce je portrét Marie de'Medici(1540-1557),který je dnes součástí sbírek Obrazárny Kunsthistorisches Muzea ve Vídni.Maria de'Medici je zde zachycena přibližně ve svých patnácti letech,v této době již byla zasnoubena s Alfonsem II. d'Este a měla se stát vévodkyní z Ferarry.Ve svých sedmnácti letech zemřela,příčinou smrti byla zřejmě malárie.Její předčasná smrt je pravděpodobně také důvodem,proč máme o jejím životě tak málo informací.Ve své práci jsem se nezabývala jen portrétem samotným,ale snažila jsem se ho hodnotit v souvislosti s ostatními portréty žen z okruhu florentského medicejského dvora,které Alessandro Allori vytvořil a v kontextu s Mariiným životem a dobou ve které žila.Zvláštní kapitolu jsem věnovala Alloriho tvorbě portrétních miniatur,které byli v této době na florentském dvoře Cosima I. de'Medici velmi oblíbené. Alessandro Allori byl jedním z nejvýznamnějších florentských umělců druhé poloviny 16.století.Již od dob mládí mu Medicejové ve Florencii svěřovali důležité zakázky a v roce 1572 se po smrti svého mistra Bronzina stal hlavním dvorním umělcem florentského dvora Cosima I. de'Medici.Proto jsem do své práce zahrnula i důležité mezníky v životě a tvorbě Alessandra...

Allori's portrait of Maria de'Medici in Kunsthistorisches Muzeum in Vienna SUMMARY The main theme of my thesis is a portrait of Maria de'Medici(1540-1557),which is now part of collections in art gallery Kunsthistorisches Muzeum in Vinna.Maria de'Medici is portray here in approximately fifteen years old,at that time she had already been betrothed to Alfonso II. d'Este and she had become Duchess of Ferarra.She died when she was seventeen years old,cause of death was probably malaria.Her premature death is probably the reason why we have so little mentions about her life.In my thesis I did not just occupy by the portrait,but I tried to evaluace it in relation to other portraits of women from the circle of florentine Medici court which Alessandro Allori created and in connection with Maria's life and era in which she lived.I devoted special chapter to Allori's creation of miniature portraits,which were very popular in florentine court of Cosimo I. de'Medici.
