Abstract

Diplomová práce "Postavení prezidenta v Polsku po roce 1989" se zabývá ústavní pozicí prezidenta po pádu komunistického režimu s přihlédnutím k osobnostem jednotlivých politiků, kteří tento post zastávali a následným posouzením politického systému Polska v letech 1989 až 2009. Kapitoly jsou členěny podle osoby prezidenta a ústavních změn z let 1992 a 1997. Kromě teoretického vymezení poloprezidencialismu práce obsahuje i historický přehled prezidentské funkce v Polsku, přehled prezidentských voleb po roce 1989 a období kohabitace. Diploma thesis "The role of president in Poland after 1989" deals with constitutional position of presidential function after the fall of communist regime with special attention to the personalities of particular politicians who were undertaking this function and with consecutive analysis of Polish political system from 1989 till 2009. The thesis is divided into chapters according to the persona of president and major constitutional changes from 1992 and 1997. Together with theoretical description of the semi-presidential system the thesis covers historical overview of presidential function in Poland, all the presidential elections after 1989 and all the periods of cohabitation.
