Umírání, smrt a euthanasie v kontextu spirituálního života člověka

Abstract

Hlavním tématem této diplomové práce je vztah mezi spirituálním prožíváním člověka a jeho postojem k otázkám týkajících se závěru života, tedy umírání, smrti a euthanasie. Tato práce se nejprve věnuje samostatně tématu umírání a smrti a tématu spirituality člověka. Stěžejní částí celé práce je kapitola věnující se vzájemnému vztahu těchto fenoménů a to se zvláštním zřetelem na křesťanství. V samostatných kapitolách se pak pojednává o problematice euthanasie a konečně také o oblasti paliativní péče.

The relation between spiritual life of the man and his attitude towards the questions relating to the end of life, especially dying, death and euthanasia is the body issue of this thesis. In the first place there are two topics separately described: the theme of dying and death and the theme of spirituality of the man. The main part of this thesis is a chapter dealing with the correlation of both theses issues, namely with the particular view to Christianity. At the end there are decribed the matters of euthanasia and the palliative care.
