Abstract

1 Implementation of Large Language Models in Legal Practice Abstract The thesis "Implementation of Large Language Models in Legal Practice" deals with the use of large language models (LLMs) in the current law practice in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to find out to what extent the LLMs technology is used in Czech legal practice and what possible technical or legal factors prevent its full deployment. The purpose of the thesis is to map the issue of legal regulation of the provision of legal services using LLMs tools and thus contribute to the debate on the effective and also safe and ethical use of LLMs technology in law firms in the Czech Republic. The theme of the thesis combines two research areas, namely the law of new technologies and the future of legal professions. The research question of the thesis asks whether the legal regulation of LLMs technology in the provision of legal services in the Czech Republic in civil law and intellectual property law is balanced in such a way that lawyers can use all the functions of LLMs tools in their professional activities without compromising or lowering the standards of quality of legal services provided, in particular with regard to the accuracy and truthfulness of the legal advice provided, the protection of the personal data of the law firm's...

1 Implementace velkých jazykových modelů v advokacii Abstrakt Diplomová práce "Implementace velkých jazykových modelů v advokacii" se zabývá využitím technologie velkých jazykových modelů (anglicky "large language models" - LLMs) v současné advokátní praxi v České republice. Cílem práce je zjistit, nakolik je technologie LLMs v české advokacii využívána a jaké případné technické či právní faktory brání jejímu plnohodnotnému nasazení. Smyslem práce je tak zmapovat problematiku právní regulace poskytování právních služeb za pomoci LLMs nástrojů a přispět tím k debatě o efektivním a zároveň též bezpečném a etickém použití technologie LLMs v advokátních kancelářích v ČR. Téma práce v sobě spojuje dvě výzkumné oblasti a to právo nových technologií a budoucnost právnických profesí. Výzkumná otázka práce se přitom ptá, zda je dnes právní regulace technologie LLMs v oblasti poskytování právních služeb v ČR v případě občanského práva a práva duševního vlastnictví vyvážena tak, aby advokáti mohli při své profesní činnosti využívat všechny funkce LLMs nástrojů a zároveň nedocházelo k ohrožení či snížení standardů kvality poskytovaných právních služeb, zejména co se týče správnosti a pravdivosti poskytnuté právní rady, ochrany osobních údajů klienta advokátní kanceláře a dodržení povinnosti mlčenlivosti advokáta.
