Perspektivy queer čtení umění moderní avantgardy v Čechách - vybrané příklady

Abstract

(EN) The master thesis deals with the possibilities of reception of visual art through the optics of queer reading on selected works of the Czech avant-garde at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. The aim of the thesis is not to create a list of works or authors that can be described as "queer" for various reasons. Rather, it is to enable a variety approach to the reception of art by breaking down the traditional cis heteronormative binary interpretive key of a work as the only relevant one. The work will place the already discussed works of Jan Zrzavý, Miloš Jiránek and Jan Preisler in a broader methodological framework, and above all it will open up new possibilities of debate on the works of other important names of Czech avant-garde art. The sub-objective of the thesis is to reflect on what so-called queer art means and whether such a label is creating further receptive stereotypes. The central point of the thesis is the methodological basis drawing on gender studies, queer theory, reception studies. (CZ) Diplomová práce se zabývá možnostmi recepce výtvarného umění optikou queer čtení na vybraných dílech české avantgardy přelomu 19. a 20. století. Cílem práce není vytvořit jakýsi seznam děl či autorů/autorek/autorstva, které lze z různých důvodů označit jako "queer". Tím je naopak umožnění varietního přístupu k recepci umění prostřednictvím nabourání tradičního cis heteronormativního binárního interpretačního klíče díla jako jediného relevantního. Práce zasadí do širšího metodologického rámce již diskutovaná díla Jana Zrzavého, Miloše Jiránka, Jana Preislera, a především otevře nové možnosti debaty nad díly dalších důležitých jmen českého avantgardního umění. Subcílem práce je zamyšlení se nad tím, co tzv. queer umění znamená a zda není podobné označení vytvářením dalších receptivních stereotypizací. Stěžejním bodem práce je metodologická báze čerpající z genderových studií, queer teorie nebo psychoanalýzy.
