Přístup pravicového populismu k migrační krizi ve vybraných státech západní Evropy

Abstract

This bachelor's thesis analyses the development of right-wing populist parties' positions on migration, focusing on the cases of Alternative for Germany and the Sweden Democrats in two electoral periods before and after the migration crisis. The aim of the thesis is to determine whether their positions remained consistent or significantly shifted in response to the migration crisis. The research is based on a comparative content analysis of election programmes, with the main analytical criteria being the framing of migration, attitudes towards national and European migration policies, and proposed measures. The thesis draws on the concept of populism as a thin ideology and traces the shift from economic critique to an emphasis on cultural and security aspects of migration. The findings show that after 2015, both parties experienced a significant radicalisation of rhetoric, intensified criticism of the EU, and an emphasis on border closures and deportations. The hypothesis regarding the flexibility of right-wing populist positions in reaction to current political events was confirmed.

Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou vývoje postojů pravicově populistických stran k migraci na příkladu Alternativy pro Německo a Švédských demokratů ve dvou volebních obdobích před a po migrační krizi. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda byly jejich postoje konzistentní, nebo se v souvislosti s migrační krizí významně proměnily. Výzkum je založen na komparativní obsahové analýze volebních programů, přičemž hlavními kritérii analýzy jsou rámování migrace, postoje k národní a evropské migrační politice a navrhovaná opatření. Práce vychází z teorie populismu jako tenké ideologie a sleduje posun od ekonomické kritiky k důrazu na kulturní a bezpečnostní aspekty migrace. Výsledky ukazují, že po roce 2015 došlo u obou stran k výrazné radikalizaci rétoriky, posílení kritiky EU a akcentaci uzavírání hranic a deportací. Hypotéza o flexibilitě postojů pravicových populistů v reakci na aktuální politické události byla potvrzena.
