Informovanost učitelů středních škol o syndromu týraného, zneužívaného a zanedbávaného dítěte

Abstract

(in English) The topic of the bachelor's thesis is the awareness of secondary school teachers on the issue of Child Abuse & Neglect (CAN) syndrome. The thesis deals with whether teachers are sufficiently prepared to recognize, deal with and prevent cases of child abuse, abuse and neglect (CAN syndrome), whether they have the necessary knowledge about the specific forms of this syndrome and how they are further educated in this area. The theoretical part of the thesis provides an overview of the forms of CAN syndrome, its epidemiology, risk factors and possibilities of diagnosis, intervention and prevention in the field of child abuse, abuse and neglect. The research part of the thesis focuses on interviewing teachers working in secondary schools in the Ústí nad Labem region. Using a questionnaire survey, it determines the level of teachers' awareness of the CAN syndrome, their knowledge of its various forms and manifestations, their ability to respond adequately to suspected occurrences of the syndrome and their overall readiness to deal with this issue. The aim of the survey is also to find out what preventive measures they use in their teaching.

(česky) Tématem bakalářské práce je problematika syndromu týraného, zneužívaného a zanedbávaného dítěte (Child Abuse & Neglect - CAN) a informovanost učitelů na středních školách o této problematice. Práce se zabývá tím, zda jsou učitelé dostatečně připraveni na rozpoznávání, řešení a prevenci případů týrání, zneužívání a zanedbávání dětí (syndrom CAN), zda disponují potřebnými znalostmi o specifických formách tohoto syndromu a jakým způsobem se dále v této oblasti vzdělávají. Teoretická část práce přináší přehled forem syndromu CAN, jeho epidemiologie, rizikových faktorů a možností diagnostiky, intervence a prevence v oblasti týrání, zneužívání a zanedbávání dětí. Výzkumná část práce se zaměřuje na dotazování učitelek a učitelů působících na středních školách v Ústeckém kraji. Pomocí dotazníkového šetření zjišťuje míru informovanosti pedagogů o syndromu CAN, jejich znalosti jednotlivých forem a projevů, schopnost adekvátně reagovat na podezření z výskytu syndromu a celkovou připravenost k řešení této problematiky. Cílem výzkumného šetření je rovněž zjistit, jaká preventivní opatření ve své výuce využívají.
