The aim of this thesis is to explore the topic of gifted students and their inclusion in education in greater depth. The research focuses on the Prague-East region. The primary objective is to compare the approaches taken by educational-psychological counselling centres and schools in supporting gifted students. The key research tools consist of interviews conducted with staff from educational-psychological counselling centres as well as with teachers and teaching assistants. The empirical part of the study employs qualitative research methods. Through interviews and subsequent comparison of findings from counselling centres and schools (specifically with school counsellors), the study seeks to juxtapose the perspective of the counselling system with that of the educational institutions. The research sample includes interviews with professionals from educational-psychological counselling centres, as well as with teachers and teaching assistants working directly with gifted pupils.en_US
