Title: Compensatory Exercise for Scuba Divers Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to design an evidence-based and practically feasible compensatory exercise programme addressing the most common musculoskeletal complaints in scuba divers. The work builds on the author's bachelor thesis, which included a questionnaire survey among recreational and semi-professional divers (n = 113). The collected data showed that 43.4 % of respondents (49 individuals) suffer from low back pain, 23 % (26) from neck pain, 20.4 % (23) from temporomandibular joint pain, and 13.3 % (15) from scapular pain. Methods: The study used a systematic literature review, secondary analysis of the original questionnaire data, and expert consultations with physiotherapists. Based on identified risk factors-such as static underwater posture, handling heavy equipment, and cold exposure-a set of 15 targeted exercises was developed. The programme is divided into five blocks based on anatomical regions. Results: The resulting programme consists of five parts: (1) lumbar spine and deep core stabilisation, (2) cervical spine and neck, (3) shoulder girdle and scapulae, (4) temporomandibular joint, and (5) lower limbs. The programme requires no special equipment, is time-efficient, and can be performed both before and after diving. Regular...en_US
Získaná data ukázala, že 43,4 % respondentů (49 osob) trpí bolestmi bederní páteře, 23 % (26 osob) má potíže s krční páteří, 20,4 % (23 osob) udává bolest v oblasti temporomandibulárního kloubu a 13,3 % (15 osob) pociťuje bolest v oblasti lopatek. Výsledky: Výsledkem je komplexní cvičební program rozdělený do pěti částí: (1) bederní páteř a hluboký stabilizační systém, (2) krční páteř a šíje, (3) ramenní pletenec a lopatky, (4) temporomandibulární kloub a (5) dolní končetiny. Program nevyžaduje speciální pomůcky a je časově nenáročný. Lze jej aplikovat...cs_CZ
