| dc.description.abstract | Spintronics offers a promising path toward faster and more energy-efficient electronics, with antiferromagnetic CuMnAs that stand out due to its capability for ultrafast optical manipulation of its magnetic structure. One such process, quench switching (QS), involves the breaking of magnetic domains and is highly sensitive to structural imperfections introduced during film growth. In this work, we investigate the anisotropy of quench switching in CuMnAs thin films using terahertz (THz) spectroscopy. Our experiments successfully reveal anisotropic QS behavior, and further measurements suggest a correlation between this anisotropy and growth-induced defects. These findings contribute to a deeper understanding of how crystalline morphology and structural anisotropy influence ultrafast spin dynamics, with potential implications for the design of reliable and efficient antiferromagnetic spintronic devices. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | Spintronika nabízí slibnou cestu k rychlejší a energeticky úspornější elektronice, přičemž antiferomagnet CuMnAs vyniká svou schopností ultrarychlé optické manipulace své magnetické struktury. Jedním z takových procesů je tzv. prepínání do zamrzlého stavu (QS), který zahrnuje fragmentaci magnetických domén a je velmi citlivý na strukturní nedokonalosti vzniklé během růstu tenkých vrstev. V této práci zkoumáme anisotropii přepínání do zamrzlého stavu v tenkých vrstvách CuMnAs pomocí terahertzové (THz) spektroskopie. Naše experimenty úspěšně odhalují anisotropní chování QS a další měření naznačují souvislost mezi touto anisotropií a defekty vzniklými během růstu. Tato zjištění přispívají k hlubšímu pochopení toho, jak morfologie krystalu a strukturní anisotropie ovlivňují ultrarychlou spinovou dynamiku, a mohou mít významné důsledky pro návrh spolehlivých a efektivních antiferomagnetických spintronických zařízení. | cs_CZ |
