Legal Design in Legal Services: MappingApplications, Opportunities, and Challenges Abstract The thesis explores the integration of Legal Design into the provision of legal services, focusing on its practical application, strategic potential, and the challenges associated with its implementation. Rooted in human-centered design and design thinking methodology, Legal Design offers legal professionals tools and perspectives to enhance clarity, usability, and overall user experience of legal services. The theoretical part of the thesis outlines the evolution of Legal Design and positions it within the broader shift toward user-centered legal practice. It explains the core principles of design thinking and how they can be translated into the legal context. Building on this foundation, the research maps key Legal Design initiatives and examines which areas of legal practice are most suitable for its adoption. Contracting, digital compliance, corporate governance, and litigation emerge as the most promising fields, based on both academic literature and practical examples. Legal Design v právních službách: mapování využití, příležitostí a výzev Abstrakt Tato diplomová práce se zabývá uplatněním Legal Designu v oblasti právních služeb, se zaměřením na jeho praktické využití, strategický potenciál a výzvy spojené s jeho zaváděním. Legal Design, vycházející z metodologie design thinking a uživatelsky orientovaného přístupu, nabízí právníkům nástroje a nové perspektivy, jak zvýšit srozumitelnost, přehlednost a celkovou uživatelskou přívětivost právních služeb. Teoretická část práce představuje vývoj Legal Designu a zasazuje jej do širšího kontextu proměny právní praxe směrem k většímu zaměření na uživatele. Vysvětluje také základní principy metodologie design thinking a jejich speciální uplatnění v právním prostředí. Na tomto základě práce mapuje klíčové Legal Design iniciativy a zkoumá, ve kterých oblastech právní praxe se tento přístup jeví jako nejvhodnější. Na základě odborné literatury i praktických příkladů se jako nejperspektivnější jeví smluvní právo, e-commerce dokumentace, oblast správy a řízení společností a rovněž litigace.
