Komunikativní a kulturní paměť u diváků seriálu Vyprávěj: Komparativní výzkum mezi pamětníky

Abstract

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na vnímání autenticity zobrazení období osmdesátých a devadesátých let 20. století v seriálu Vyprávěj očima pamětníků tohoto období a vychází z výrazné role seriálu jako paměťového média. Seriál poskytuje jedinečnou platformu pro zkoumání, jak média formují historické vnímání a paměť. V rámci výzkumu je použita metodika kvantitativního dotazníkového šetření, které se zaměřuje na to, jak pamětníci vnímají historickou přesnost a autenticitu zobrazených událostí v seriálu. Zároveň zkoumá vliv seriálu na proces vzpomínání, jakým způsobem seriál vyvolává osobní vzpomínky a jak se tyto vzpomínky shodují či liší od mediálně prezentovaného narativu. Práce si klade za cíl poskytnout hlubší pochopení dynamiky mezi osobními vzpomínkami a mediální reprezentací historie, což je klíčové pro pochopení, jak média formují naše historické uvědomění a kulturní identitu. Výsledky práce mají přispět k lepšímu porozumění procesů, které formují naše vnímání minulosti a současnosti v kontextu moderního mediálního prostředí. Tato práce také zdůrazňuje význam televizních seriálů jako nástroje pro vzdělávání a utváření kolektivní paměti.

The thesis focuses on the perception of authenticity in the depiction of the 1980s and 1990s in the TV series Vyprávěj through the eyes of those who lived during this period, and is based on the significant role of the series as a medium of memory. The series provides a unique platform for exploring how media shape historical perception and memory. The research employs a quantitative survey methodology that focuses on how these witnesses perceive the historical accuracy and authenticity of the events depicted in the series. It also examines the influence of the series on the process of remembering, how the series evokes personal memories, and how these memories align or differ from the media-presented narrative. The aim of the thesis is to provide a deeper understanding of the dynamics between personal memories and media representation of history, which is crucial for understanding how media shape our historical awareness and cultural identity. The results of the work aim to contribute to a better understanding of the processes that shape our perception of the past and present in the context of the modern media environment. This work also highlights the significance of television series as tools for education and shaping collective memory.
