This thesis focuses on women in the online environment, specifically female streamers in the CZ/SK live-streaming scene. It explores the intersection of gaming and sexualized content, raising the question of stereotyping, sexualization, self-sexualization, and the role of cosplay. The theoretical part of the thesis explains the basic concepts, introduces the environment of gaming and live-streaming culture, and defines the position of women in it. At the same time, part of this section is devoted to the sexualized content itself. The empirical part describes the research consisting of a case study and a questionnaire survey. The case study is conducted on a sample of three selected CZ/SK female streamers, using thematic and content analysis of data from the platforms of Instagram and Twitch. The study aims to find out the self- representation of the selected CZ/SK streamers in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, how they are perceived, and if there is stereotyping within their perception, as well as to explore the position of sexualized content and its influence on further online creation. At the same time, the thesis asks whether there is, or what is, a difference between typical sexualized content and sexualized content focused on cosplay. The results of the thesis point to the relationship between...en_US
