Matka Ježíše Nazaretského v polemické tradici Toldot Ješu

Abstract

Bakalářská práce se zabývá vyobrazením postavy Marie, matky Ježíše Nazaretského, ve folklorním narativu Toledot Ješu a taktéž prezentováním příběhu o Ježíšově početí. Tento popis reflektuje širší kontext mezináboženských vztahů a přístupů, jakými kupříkladu byly i teologické trendy, mezi něž se mimo jiné řadí i kult mariánské zbožnosti. Proto lze v tradici rovněž vysledovat zařazení zmínek o Ježíšově početí, a to včetně důrazu na původ jeho rodičů až v pozdější době. Ze stejného důvodu má práce za cíl tyto aspekty porovnat s vybranými zmínkami v Talmudu, přístupem k výše uvedeným tématům středověké protikřesťanské polemiky, a to uvést do kontrastu s církevními otci a jejich řešením problematiky panenského početí a Božího vtělení.

The bachelor thesis focuses on the depiction of the character of Mary, the mother of Jesus of Nazareth, in the folkloric narrative of the "Toledot Yeshu". At the same time, the thesis examines the story of his conception. Since this depiction reflects a broader context of the interreligious relations and attitudes, including theological trends, such as the Cult of Marian Devotion, the addition of the story of Jesus' conception and the emphasis on his parents' background to the narrative can be traced much later. For this reason, the thesis aims to compare selected references to the topic of the virgin birth and the incarnation in the Talmud, as well as the attitude towards these topics in the medieval antichristian polemics. Concurrently, the topics are contrasted with the Christian Fathers and their approach towards the problematics of the virgin birth and the incarnation.
