Možnosti syntézy marxisticko-formalistické polemiky v textech vybraných členů Bachtinova kroužku: Michail M. Bachtin, Pavel N. Medvěděv, Valentin N. Vološinov

Abstract

(česky): Tématem diplomové práce je analýza textů vybraných členů Bachtinova kroužku: Michaila Michailoviče Bachtina, Pavla Nikolajeviče Medvěděva a Valentina Nikolajeviče Vološinova. Práce se zabývá jejich myšlením ve vztahu k formalisticko-marxistické polemice, která se týkala především otázek povahy, funkce a vývoje literatury; vedle toho tematizovala také vztah formy a obsahu. Zajímá nás především, zda koncepty členů Bachtinova kroužku, jako např. vícehlasí, ideologie, či sociální hodnocení, lze chápat jako syntézu odlišných přístupů reprezentovaných formalismem a marxisem, protože právě v této otázce se odborná literatura často rozchází. Při uplatnění dané perspektivy zároveň vyvstávají různé podobnosti s přístupy, z nichž marxisté a formalisté vycházeli a na něž (přestože často kriticky) reagovali. Jedná se zejména o lingvistické teorie Alexandra Afanasjeviče Potěbni, estetiku Immanuela Kanta, Wilhlema Friedricha Gottfrieda Hegela a sociální ruskou kritiku 19. století. Tato práce proto mapuje dějiny myšlení, které bylo jak pro účastníky polemiky, tak pro členy Bachtinova kroužku relevantní a snaží se nalézt a upřesnit vztahy mezi jednotlivými koncepty.

(english): This diploma thesis analyzes texts of selected Bakhtin's circle's members: Mikhail Mikhailovich Bakhtin, Pavel Nikolajevich Medvedev and Valentin Nikolajevich Voloshinov. The thesis deals with their thinking in realtion to the formalist-marxist polemics, which was concerned mainly with the questions of literature's nature, fuction and evolution; it also thematized the relationship between content and form. We are interested primarly in the question whether the concepts of Bakhin's circle's members, such as heteroglossia, ideology or social evaluation, can be understood as a sythesis of the different approaches represented by formalism and marxism, since it is on this question that academics often disagree. At the same time, in applying this perspective, various similarities emerge with the approaches on which Marxists and Formalists have drawn and to which they have responded (albeit often critically). These include in particular the linguistic theories of Alexander Afanasievitch Potebnja, the aesthetics of Immanuel Kant, Wilhelm Friedrich Gottfried Hegel, and nineteenth-century Russian social criticism.
