Předobrazy homeopatické léčby v Hippokratově učení

Abstract

Mou snahou v rámci této bakalářské práce je na základě analýzy historických pramenů s podporou literatury hledat podobnosti mezi hippokratovskou medicínou a homeopatií a zaměřit se především na údajné předobrazy homeopatických myšlenek ve sbírce spisů Corpus Hippocraticum. Homeopatie se totiž ve svém učení na principy Hippokratovy léčby a znalost tzv. zákona podobnosti často odvolává, proto bych ráda zjistila, jestli jsou tyto tendence skutečně alespoň zčásti oprávněné, nebo jestli Hippokratés v tomto případě spíše představuje pouze jakýsi fenomén a autoritu, jíž se tento alternativní směr medicíny zaštiťuje za účelem obhajoby vlastní praxe. Cílem práce je zároveň přiblížit osobnost a fenomén "otce medicíny" Hippokrata (5.-4. století př. n. l.) společně s jeho učením, obsaženým ve zmiňované sbírce spisů, a vedle něho také osobnost zakladatele a "otce homeopatie" Samuela Hahnemanna (1755-1843), který počátkem 19. století shrnul principy nově vzniklého alternativního směru medicíny ve svém Organonu léčebného umění. Jedna ze stanovených badatelských otázek je, zdali lze u Hahnemanna jakkoli doložit inspiraci Hippokratem, zdali byl on sám s principy hippokratovské medicíny obeznámen a jak s nimi případně pracoval. My aim in this bachelor thesis is to look for similarities between Hippocratic medicine and homeopathy by analysing historical sources with the support of literature and to focus primarily on the so-called archetypes of homeopathy in the collection of writings Corpus Hippocraticum. Homeopathy often refers to the principles of Hippocratic treatment and the knowledge of the so-called law of similars in its theories, therefore I would like to find out whether these tendencies are truly at least partly justified, or whether Hippocrates is rather just a phenomenon and an authority that this alternative medicine uses to defend its own practice. Furthermore, this thesis aims to introduce the personality and phenomenon of the "father of medicine" Hippocrates (5th -4th century B.C.) together with his theories, contained in the aforementioned collection of writings, and alongside him also the personality of the founder and "father of homeopathy" Samuel Hahnemann (1755-1843), who at the beginning of the 19th century summarized the principles of the newly emerged type of alternative medicine in his Organon of the Rational Art of Healing.
