| dc.description.abstract | The thesis "Abstraction and Reality" deals with the relation between figurative art and abstraction. The aim of the thesis is to point out the main reasons of abstract art inception in the beginning of the 20th century and to describe changes in the concept of image visualization. The genesis of this form of art is observed in painting and especially in concrete production of chosen pioneers. It focuses on different solutions and processes leading to personalized conception of abstract art. This artistic practise is introduced as a part of concrete actuality. | en_US |

Cílem práce je vyložit hlavní důvody vzniku nepředmětného umění na počátku 20. století a popsat změnu v pojetí obrazové vizuality. Vývoj abstrakce sleduje v malířství a především na konkrétních dílech vybraných průkopníků abstraktní malby.
