Zajišťování potřeb klientů v domově pro seniory

Abstract

The thesis focuses on the provision of services in nursing homes. It aims to find out what needs the homes perceive in their clients and how they respond to them. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the concepts and theories of needs, quality of life in old age and well-being, the topic of the protection of the rights of the elderly and the Quality Standards for Social Services. The research part presents the methodological approach of the study and the research findings. The study is based on semi-structured interviews with social workers of selected homes, which include homes with the highest rating of the Quality Mark certification. As a result of the work, the individual groups of needs are described together with the factors influencing their fulfilment. The paper then presents the differences found between homes with and without the Quality Mark. Keywords: nursing home, needs, senior, well-being, quality of life

Práce se zaměřuje na oblast poskytování služeb v domovech pro seniory. Jejím cílem je zjistit, jaké potřeby domovy u svých klientů vnímají a jakými způsoby na ně reagují. V teoretické části práce jsou představeny koncepty a teorie potřeb, kvality života ve stáří a well-beingu, téma ochrany práv seniorů a Standardy kvality sociálních služeb. Výzkumná část představuje metodologické uchopení studie a výzkumná zjištění. Studie je založena na polostrukturovaných rozhovorech se sociálními pracovníky vybraných domovů, mezi něž jsou zařazeny i domovy s nejvyšším hodnocením certifikace Značky kvality. Výsledkem práce je popis jednotlivých skupin potřeb společně s faktory ovlivňujícími jejich naplnění. Následně práce představuje zjištěné rozdílnosti u domovů se Značkou kvality.
