"Tanec smrti" a fenomén smrti ve Slokách na smrt mého otce a ve španělském Tradičním tanci smrti

Abstract

The first part of the thesis will be devoted to the phenomenon of the "Dance of Death" (Danza de la muerte), which has become a characteristic feature of artistic and literary works, and which also reflects the society's view of death and of society itself in a time in which this phenomenon developed. The next part of the thesis will focus on particular literary works in which the motif of death is present, namely Jorge Manrique's poem Coplas a la muerte de su padre and the medieval Spanish poem Danza general de la muerte. The aim of the thesis is to analyse through the poems the society and its thinking about death, which, in the light of contemporary events in Europe, became one of the characteristic features of the late medieval period. První část práce bude věnována fenoménu "Tance smrti" (šp. Danza de la muerte), jenž se stal charakteristickým rysem výtvarných a literárních děl, a který zároveň reflektuje pohled společnosti na smrt a na společnost samotnou, a to v době, kdy se tento fenomén rozvíjel. Další část práce se již zaměří na španělská literární díla, ve kterých motiv smrti figuruje, a to konkrétně na báseň Sloky na smrt mého otce (Coplas a la muerte de su padre) od Jorgeho Manriqueho a středověkou španělskou báseň Tradiční tanec smrti (Dança general de la muerte). Cílem práce je skrze básně analyzovat společnost a její smýšlení o smrti, jež se vzhledem k dobovým událostem v Evropě stala jednou z příznačných rysů vystihující epochu pozdního středověku.
