Obraz Neapole ve vybraných hrách Eduarda De Filippa

Abstract

This bachelor's thesis deals with the analysis of four theatre plays by Eduardo De Filippo in connection with the city of Naples. In my work, i look for a connection betveen De Filippo's work and his hometown, whose rapresentation is displayed in a different way in each work and gradually develops. In the work of Filumena Marturano, I analyze the image of Naples mainly from the language perspective, which emphasizes the differences between the classes in Neapolitan society. In connection with Natale in casa Cupiello and Il figlio di Pulcinella, I also focus on the themes of Neapolitan traditions, which are depicted in two ways in these works. On one hand, it portrays the theme of the nativity scene, the development, which is historically linked to the famous street in the center of Naples, San Gregorio Armeno. On the other, Pulcinella, who represents the Neapolitan people in Eduardo's work. The last analyzed work is Napoli Millionaria!, where the defense mechanism of the mask acts as a reaction of the hardships of war, which is also usually assigned to Neapolitans. It is not by chance that these residents are well known as great actors wearing "masks" also outside the theatre. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou čtyř divadelních her Eduarda De Filippa v souvislosti s městem Neapole. V práci hledám spojitost mezi De Filippovou tvorbou a jeho rodným městem, jehož obraz se v každém díle určitým způsobem zobrazuje a postupně vyvíjí. V díle Filumena Marturano analyzuji obraz Neapole především skrze jazykovou stránku, která zdůrazňuje rozdíly mezi vrstvami v neapolské společnosti. V souvislosti s Natale in casa Cupiello a Il figlio di Pulcinella se věnuji tématům neapolské tradice, jež je v těchto dílech zobrazena dvojím způsobem. Na jedné straně tématem betlému, jehož vývoj se historicky pojí se slavnou ulicí v centru Neapole San Gregorio Armeno a na straně druhé Pulcinellou, který v Eduardově díle představuje neapolský lid. Posledním analyzovaným dílem je Napoli milionaria!, kde jako reakce na těžkosti války vystupuje na povrch obranný mechanismus masky, která bývá přiřazována právě neapolcům. Ne náhodou jsou tito obyvatelé označováni za skvělé herce nosící "masky" i mimo divadelní prostory. Vidíme, že obraz Neapole je v jednotlivých dílech zastoupen trochu jinak, i když za povšimnutí stojí také opakování se některých motivů. U divadelních her, které jsou datem nejblíže ke dvěma světovým válkám, lze zpozorovat větší naléhavost o návrat k tradici. Postupem času však De...
