Symbolika přírodních prvků v díle básnířky Gaspary Stampy

Abstract

The thesis deals with the analysis of Gaspara Stampa's collection of poems Rime, published in 1554, with emphasis on the symbolism of natural elements. A comprehensive interpretation of the elements of earth, water, fire and air is made herein. Given the fact that the poetess lived in Venice, which she often refers to in the collection, a picture of Venetian society, culture and literature in the 16th century is also presented here, when Petrarchism as a literary model spread and women authors were promoted in the literary world. The work also approaches the biography of Gaspara Stampa and the circumstances that influenced the creation of the Rime collection.

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou sbírky sonetů Rime básnířky Gaspary Stampy, vydané v roce 1554, s důrazem na symboliku přírodních prvků. Je podán ucelený výklad elementů země, vody, ohně a vzduchu v této sbírce. Vzhledem k tomu, že básnířka působila v Benátkách, na které ve sbírce často odkazuje, je zde též podán obraz benátské společnosti, kultury a literatury v šestnáctém století, kdy došlo k rozšíření petrarkismu jako literárního vzoru a k prosazení ženských autorek v literárním světě. Práce přibližuje taktéž život Gaspary Stampy a okolnosti, které měly vliv na tvorbu sbírky Rime.
