Meziválečná architektura činžovních domů Jana Gillara

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the architecture of tenement houses of one of the most significant representatives and authors of Czech science - based functionalism - Jan Gillar. The tenement houses were built in the 1930s in Prague, in a time and space in which a great building boom of this type of housing in the intentions of functionalist architecture can be recorded. Gillar's tenement houses are presented in detail, with particular emphasis on the internal creation of space, architectural rendering, technical aspects, and the circumstances of origin. This thesis intends to trace a value of Gillar's tenement houses in the context of the significant building industry production in Prague and at the same time to place them in the context of Gillar's architectural work. Bakalářská práce se zabývá architekturou činžovních domů jednoho z nejvýznamnějších zástupců a tvůrců českého vědeckého funkcionalismu - Jana Gillara. Činžovní domy vznikly ve třicátých letech 20. století na území Prahy, v době a prostoru, v němž lze zaznamenat velký stavební boom tohoto typu bydlení v intencích funkcionalistické architektury. Gillarovy činžovní domy jsou podrobně představeny, zejména je kladen důraz na vnitřní tvorbu prostoru, architektonické ztvárnění, technickou stránku a okolnosti vzniku stavby. Záměrem je podrobit domy hodnocení v rámci významné stavební produkce v Praze a současně je vsadit do kontextu Gillarovy architektonické tvorby.
