Potřeby seniorů s diagnostikovanou demencí z pohledu pracovníků v Domově se zvláštním režimem

Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the needs of seniors diagnosed with dementia from the perspective of social workers. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of the age of old age, a description of the types of dementia in old age, the theory of needs according to A. Maslow and according to Maxe-Neef. In the practical part of the bachelor's thesis, I focus on the needs of seniors with dementia according to how social workers detect them. The practical part of the work is solved through qualitative research with the help of semi-structured interviews with employees of one Home with a special regime. The aim of my work is to find out what needs the staff of the Home with a special regime perceive in different groups of seniors and how they evaluate their ability to meet these needs in their clients.

Bakalářská práce se zabývá potřebami seniorů s diagnostikovanou demencí z pohledu sociálních pracovníků. Teoretická část je zaměřena na vymezení životního období stáří, popis druhů demence ve stáří, teorii potřeb podle A. Maslowa a podle Maxe-Neefa. Praktická část bakalářské práce se zaměřuje na otázku potřeb seniorů s demencí podle toho, jak je pracovníci v sociálních službách detekují. Praktická část práce je řešena pomocí kvalitativního výzkumu za pomoci polostrukturovaných rozhovorů s pracovníky jednoho Domova se zvláštním režimem. Cílem práce je zjistit, jaké potřeby pracovníci Domova se zvláštním režimem vnímají u různých skupin seniorů a jak hodnotí své možnosti tyto potřeby u svých klientů naplňovat.
