Fenomén Parukářka

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with urban greenery, specifically with the publicly accessible Parukářka park in Prague's Žižkov district. Based on a research of available literature and other sources, it first introduces and defines the key concepts and theoretical background that deal with greenery and its functions, as well as public space and areas of interest, all of which allows a closer look into the issue. The thesis also provides a brief overview of the historical development of the area which has undergone a number of changes over the decades that have influenced its current form. The last section of the theoretical part of the thesis focuses on development projects to be realized in the vicinity of the park and marginally it also deals with strategic materials. The aim of this thesis is an attempt at a comprehensive description of the Parukářka phenomenon and an exploration of this public space as an actual place, as well as a construct of meanings and values attributed to it by its users/actors. The empirical part of the thesis seeks to answer the research question of the significance of this relatively preserved natural area in urban space, both in general from different points of view and from the perspectives of its contemporary users/actors. Tato diplomová práce se zabývá městskou zelení, konkrétně veřejně přístupným parkem Parukářka na pražském Žižkově. Na základě rešerše dostupné odborné literatury a dalších zdrojů nejprve představuje a ukotvuje klíčové pojmy a teoretická východiska, která se věnují zeleni a jejím funkcím, dále veřejnému prostoru a oblasti zájmu, což umožnuje blíže nahlédnout do dané problematiky. Dále se práce věnuje stručnému historickému vývoji tohoto území, které v průběhu desetiletí prošlo řadou proměn, jež měly vliv na jeho současnou podobu. Poslední oddíl teoretické části práce se zaměřuje na developerské projekty, které mají být v blízkém okolí parku realizovány a okrajově se věnuje též strategickým materiálům. Cílem této práce je snaha o komplexní popis fenoménu Parukářka a zkoumání tohoto veřejného prostoru jako reálného místa, ale i jako konstruktu významů a hodnot, které mu uživatelé/aktéři připisují. Empirická část práce se snaží zodpovědět výzkumný problém, kterým je: Význam relativně zachovaného přírodě blízkého prostředí v městském prostoru, a to obecně v dílčích pohledech a z pohledu uživatelů/aktérů současnosti. Z tohoto důvodu je pro výzkum použita kvalitativní výzkumná strategie, konkrétně polostrukturované rozhovory s uživateli parku a odborníky, které jsou doplněny o nezúčastněné pozorování. Pro...
