Vzdělávací programy v českých knihovnách: Regionální sonda v městských knihovnách

Abstract

Abstract, Keywords The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze educational programs in Czech libraries and to point out the basic trends in this area. To achieve this goal I am comparing two urban libraries. Part of the thesis is the analysis of two selected libraries and some cultural and educational events in these libraries. In the theoretical part, the thesis focuses on the founding of libraries as book rentals and their transformation into a social and educational center, i.e. the space to acquire new information, creative education and establish social interactions in the community. The aim of the research part is to find out by means of quantitative research (questionnaire) what is the interest in cultural and educational events of registered library readers and how cultural and educational events participate in the social life of the given place. The research was carried out in two selected libraries in Dobříš and Dvůr Králové. These are libraries of the same type (urban) in towns with a population not exceeding 20,000 inhabitans and where libraries represent the center of cultural life in the town. Abstrakt, klíčová slova Cílem práce je analyzovat vzdělávací programy v českých knihovnách a pojmenovat základní trendy v této oblasti. K dosažení tohoto cíle využívám srovnání dvou městských knihoven. Součástí práce je analýza dvou vybraných knihoven a některých kulturních a vzdělávacích akcí v těchto knihovnách. V teoretické části je práce zaměřena na vznik knihoven jako půjčoven knih a na jejich proměnu ve společenské a vzdělávací centrum, tedy na prostor k získávání nových informací, kreativní edukaci a navazování sociálních vazeb v rámci dané komunity. Cílem výzkumné části je prostřednictvím kvantitativního výzkumu (dotazníku) zjistit, jaký je zájem o kulturní a vzdělávací akce registrovaných čtenářů knihovny a jak se kulturní a vzdělávací akce podílejí na společenském životě daného místa. Výzkum je proveden ve dvou vybraných knihovnách v Dobříši a Dvoře Králové. Jedná se o knihovny stejného typu (městského) ve městech s počtem nepřesahujícím 20 000 obyvatel, kde knihovny představují centrum kulturního života v obci. Obě knihovny také spojuje velké množství služeb a akcí, které svým čtenářům nabízejí a rozsah knihovního fondu - počet svazků v obou knihovnách se pohybuje v mezích 46 000 až 50 000 svazků. Práce i výzkum zohledňuje specifickou situaci způsobenou pandemií Covid-19 a karanténními opatřením....
