Abstract

The diploma thesis "The work of a teaching assistant in primary schools" deals with the work of a teaching assistant and his cooperation and communication with other participants in the educational process such as parents, teachers and pupils with special educational needs and the assistant was assigned to them. The theoretical part defines the basic concepts and laws related to the profession of a teaching assistant. An integral part of this work is to get acquainted with the basic activities of a teaching assistant, his position in classes and schools. In this profession, there has been a change in the decree on the education of pupils with special educational needs, which is described here. There are also funding opportunities, an idea of the current state of assistants in Czech education and the procedure of each school headmaster, how to apply for assistants. The empirical part deals with the methodology of the research survey, the method of which is in the form of a questionnaire and an interview. The aim is to find out the work of a teaching assistant with an emphasis on the cooperation of a teaching assistant and a teacher at common lower secondary school. Diplomová práce "Práce asistenta pedagoga na základních školách" se věnuje práci asistenta pedagoga a jeho spolupráci a komunikaci s ostatními účastníky výchovně- vzdělávacího procesu jako jsou rodiče, učitel a žáci, kteří mají speciálně vzdělávací potřeby a asistent jim byl přidělen. V teoretické části jsou vymezeny základní pojmy a zákony, které se týkají profese asistenta pedagoga. Nedílnou součástí této práce je seznámení se základními činnostmi asistenta pedagoga, jeho postavení ve třídách a školách. V této profesi došlo ke změně ve vyhlášce o vzdělávání žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami, která je zde popisována. Dále jsou zde uvedeny možnosti financování, představa o skutečném stavu asistentů v českém školství a postup každého ředitele školy, jakým způsobem si může o asistenty zažádat. Empirická část se zabývá metodologií výzkumného šetření, jehož metoda je formou dotazníku a rozhovoru. Cílem je zjistit práci asistenta pedagoga s důrazem na spolupráci asistenta pedagoga a učitelem na II. stupni běžné základní školy. Asistentky pedagoga v rozhovoru odpovídaly na otázky, které se týkaly jejich spolupráce s učitelem na II. stupni ZŠ.
