Porozumění pojmu soustava souřadnic u žáků středních škol

Abstract

Cílem diplomové práce Porozumění pojmu soustava souřadnic u žáků středních škol je prozkoumat hloubku porozumění soustavě souřadnic žáků střední školy použitím analýzy a popisu vybraných žákovských problémů při používání tohoto pojmu. Abych mohl odhalit hlubší znalosti žáků v této oblasti matematiky, používám ve své práci jako nástroj pro získávání informací test s úlohami zadanými v nepravoúhlé soustavě souřadnic. V první části práce je popsán historický vývoj tohoto pojmu s důrazem na období renesance, ve kterém byly položeny základy moderního pojetí soustavy souřadnic. Dále jsou zde dále popsány požadavky na výuku tohoto pojmu v učebnicích a kurikulárních dokumentech a stručně popsána teorie concept image a concept definition, která se zabývá porozuměním matematickým pojmům. Další část práce je věnována experimentu realizovaného při výuce v hodinách matematiky na střední škole. Předkládám zde konkrétní výsledky žáků, kteří absolvovali test s nestandardními úlohami souvisejícími s pojmem soustava souřadnic. Tyto výsledky jsou následně analyzovány pomocí předem specifikovaných jevů v kontextu výše uvedené teorie concept image a concept definition. The aim of a thesis High school students' understanding of the coordinate system concept is to research the level of student's understanding of the topic by using analysis and a description of student's problems with given topic. A written non-standard test with exercises from non- Cartesian coordinate system is used as a tool to analyse the level of students' understanding. The first part of the thesis describes the historical development of the topic with emphasize on the renaissance era, in which were the basics of the modern concept of coordinate system set. The first part also includes the description of educational requirements from course books, curricular documents and the theory of concept image and concept definition, which focuses on understanding of mathematical terms. Second part of the study concentrates on the experiment with a non-standard test given to students at mathematical lessons at high school. The results are presented and analysed by previously specified phenomena and interpreted in the concept image and concept definition theory.
