Stát se schizofrenikem

Abstract

The objective of the work is to understand the experience of individuals with schizophrenia diagnosis using the hermeneutic-narrative approach. The theoretical foundation for the research is conception of "narrative structured experience", which is understood as way, how to understand and describe connections and meanings within an autobiographical narration. The methodological foundation of the work is the hermeneutic-narrative approach and its assumption that the human experience is narratively structured. Thus, if we want to study, what it is like to "become a schizophrenic individual", it is possible to explore the way, how this experience and the relevant understanding are structured in a narration. Using the life-story analysis we can explore, how the individuals acts in their life experience, how they cope with psychotic states of their consciousness and how their life is reflected by them and by others. Analysis also reveals connections between influence of their family environment, communication patterns and "giving the meaning" to the experience within their life. Jak intrepretovat onu pouze jednostrannou kauzalitu, kdy zpětně u většiny schizofreniků nacházíme podobné podmínky a příčiny, ale ne vždy z těchto podmínek vyroste schizofrenik? Jde o to, že podmínky, které vidíme, patří k obecně zátěžovým situacím (smrt v rodině, psychotický rodič, alkoholický rodič atp.), avšak subjekt, který se s těmito Podmínkami vyrovnává a reaguje na ně, prožívá při vnitřním zpracovávání těchto situací různě velkou míru autorství/aktérství (sebe i "druhých"), tzn. různě velkou kapacitu . Na jedné straně osy tedy stojí člověk, který se vědomě rozhoduje a je autorem akcí ve svém životě - ten na základě vědomého zpracování náročné či traumatické situace nějakým Způsobem transformuje prožitky a "převypráví" si je takovým způsobem aby kontinuálně Zapadly do jeho životního příběhu (popř. je vnímá jako další etapu vývoje ve svém životě). Na druhé straně osy stojí člověk, který se necítí, resp. není autorem svých akcí, tzn. centrum rozhodování o jeho životě leží mimo něj a on si není vědom, že může svobodně a Zodpovědně rozhodovat o tom, jak se se situacemi bude vyrovnávat.
