Fenomén současných hororových žánrů na sociálních sítích

Abstract

Ústředním tématem této bakalářské práce je obsahová analýza kolektivně sdíleného internetového hororového obsahu. Jednotlivé kapitoly zkoumají žánry současného digitálního folkloru s hororovou tematikou, jež se vyvíjí v prostředí internetu, a současně komunity uživatelů, jež se na jejich vzniku podílí. Dále práce analyzuje platformy, které umožňují šíření těchto hororových prvků, jejich vliv na postupné proměny těchto textů a také reakce některých uživatelů nad rámec pouhého pasivního čtení v podobě ostenze a příbuzných sociálních praktik. Hlavním tematickým okruhem, kterému se tato práce věnuje, je fenomén creepypasty (hororové narativy či obrázky šířící se po internetu), avšak v rámci výzkumu zkoumá i další audiovizuální tvorbu, která se šíří napříč platformami sociálních sítí (strašidelné internetové memy, videa či podcasty). Cílem práce je analyzovat dynamiku trendu současných internetových hororových žánrů a jejich případné proměny, které souvisí s generační obměnou a vznikem nových internetových sociálních sítí a platforem. The main topic of this bachelor thesis is the content analysis of collectively shared online horror content. In the individual chapters I will examine the genres of contemporary digital folklore with a horror theme that is evolving in the Internet environment, as well as the communities of users who are involved in their creation. Furthermore, the work analyzes platforms that allow the spread of these horror elements, their impact on the gradual changes of these texts and also the reactions of some users beyond mere passive reading in the form of ostension and related social practices. The main theme of this work is the phenomenon of creepypasta (horror narratives or images spreading on the Internet) and other audiovisual phenomena that spread across social networking platforms (scary Internet memes, videos or podcasts). The aim of this work is to analyze the dynamics of the current Internet horror genres and their possible changes, which are related to the generational change and the emergence of new Internet social networks and platforms.
