Kierkegaard, Lévinas a náboženství

Abstract

Předmětem této bakalářské práce je srovnání Sørena Kierkegaarda a Emmanuela Lévinase, se zaměřením na náboženství. Výchozím sporem mezi těmito autory je vztah náboženství a etiky. Zatímco pro Kierkegaarda je etika pouhou "zastávkou" na cestě k víře, a může být dokonce "suspendována", pro Lévinase je naprosto klíčová, a náboženství bez ní není možné. Přes tento rozpor, se zde snažím otevřít cestu k srovnání obou autorů. Pod jejich rozdílnými pojmy totiž lze zahlédnout podobnost jejich myšlenek. První část práce se věnuje výchozím problémům tohoto srovnání, zevrubně popisuje biografii a také rozebírá způsob, kterým Lévinas četl Kierkegaardovo dílo. Tělo práce se pak věnuje třem bodům. Prvním z nich je střet náboženství a etiky. Práce se zaměřuje nejen na analýzu a důsledky tohoto konfliktu, ale reflektuje i způsob, kterým oba autoři s těmito pojmy pracují. Další kapitola se pak zaměřuje na biblické přikázání milovat svého bližního. Ukazuje se v ní, že oba autoři se shodují v chápání tohoto přikázání jako povinnosti. Zároveň se však odlišují v tom, zda je původcem tohoto přikázání Bůh nebo Druhý, tedy člověk. Poslední část je zaměřena na srovnání pojetí Boha v myšlení obou autorů. Oba myslitelé zde sdílejí radikální transcendenci Boha vůči světu a člověku. Nicméně nakonec se právě zde nachází možná...

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is comparison of Søren Kierkegaard and Emmanuel Levinas with focus on religion. The initial dispute between these authors is the relationship between ethics and religion. While for Kierkegaard is ethics just a "stop" on the path to faith and can be even suspended, for Levinas it is absolutely crucial and religion is not possible without it. Despite this dispute, I try to open the way towards the comparison of the two authors. There can be seen simirality of their thoughts under their different concepts. The first part of the thesis deals with the problems of this comparison, briefly describes the biography and also discusses the way Levinas reads Kierkegaard's work. The body of the thesis is devoted to the three points. The first is the conflict between religion and ethics. The thesis focuses not only on the analysis and consequencis of this conflict, but it also reflects the way, in which both authors work with these concepts. The next chapter then focuses on the biblical commandment to love your neighbor. It shows that they agree on the understanding of this commandment as a duty. However, they differ in whether the originator of this commandment is God or Other, that is man. The last part is devoted to the comparison of the concept of God in their thinking....
