Násilí a odcizení v díle Roberta Arlta

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá literárním dílem argentinského spisovatele první poloviny 20. století Roberta Arlta. Jejím cílem je představit a porovnat motivy násilí a odcizení v románech El juguete rabioso a Los siete locos. V první řadě se zaměřuje na vliv dějinných událostí a autorova života na povahu textu. Dále představuje hlavní filosofické směry a literární skupiny, které ovlivňují Arltovu literární tvorbu jako jsou především existencialismus a tradice Florida a Boedo. Na jednotlivých ukázkách poukazuje na vztah mezi společenskými změnami a tématy úzkosti a násilí. Také jsou představeny hlavní důvody, proč se násilí objevuje v obou románech a dopady, které má na životy postav. Nakonec se zabývá odcizením těchto postav způsobeným jejich socioekonomickou situací, frustrací a způsoby uvažování.

This bachelor's thesis discusses the literary work of the Argentinian writer of the first half of the 20th century Roberto Arlt. The primary purpose is to introduce and compare the motives of violence and alienation in the novels El juguete rabioso and Los siete locos. Firstly, the work focuses on the impact of historical events and the author's personal life on the nature of the text. Subsequently, refers to the main philosophical movements and literary groups that affected Arlt's discourse, like existentialism and Florida and Boedo literary tradition. On individual examples, it is shown the relationship between social changes and topics of anxiety and violence. The work also introduces the main reasons why violence has arisen in both novels and its impact on the characters' lives. In the end, the work focuses on the alienation of the main characters caused by their socioeconomic background, frustration and ways of thinking.
