Posouzení intenzity bolesti sestrou - možnosti a realita

Abstract

Bakalářská práce se zabývá posouzením intenzity bolesti sestrou - jejími možnostmi a realitou. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na celkovou problematiku bolesti. Zahrnuje stručnou definici bolesti a možnosti její léčby. Vyzdvihuje zejména důležitost správného zhodnocení intenzity, které je jedním ze stěžejních prvků správného a účinného postupu v léčbě bolesti. V praktické části jsou předloženy výsledky výzkumného šetření, pro nějž byla využita metoda strukturovaného rozhovoru a přímého skrytého pozorování. Šetření probíhalo pouze v Ústřední vojenské nemocnici, proto nelze tyto výsledky aplikovat celoplošně. Cílem práce je posouzení metod k hodnocení intenzity bolesti, které jsou definovány ve standardu Ústřední vojenské nemocnice. Zjistit, zda jsou tyto metody užívány a především, zda vedou k efektivnímu zhodnocení, a tím napomáhají k maximálnímu snížení či úplné eliminaci bolesti. Dílčím cílem bylo najít v případě nevhodného postupu vhodnější způsob, jež by toto pomohl zajistit. V této problematice a v celém procesu hodnocení intenzity bolesti hraje sestra velmi významnou roli, což potvrdily i výsledky výzkumného šetření.

The bachelor thesis deals with the nurse's assessment of pain intensity - its possibilities and reality. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the overall issue of pain. It includes a brief definition of pain and its treatment options. In particular, it highlights the importance of a correct assessment of intensity, which is one of the key elements of a correct and effective pain management procedure. The practical part presents the results of the research investigation, for which the method of a structured interview and direct covert observation was used. The investigation was conducted only in the Ústřední vojenská nemocnice, therefore these results cannot be applied nationwide. The aim of this paper is to assess the methods to assess pain intensity, which is defined in the standard of the Ústřední vojenská nemocnie. To determine whether these methods are used and, more importantly, whether they lead to effective assessment and thus help to maximize the reduction or complete elimination of pain. The sub-objective was to find a more appropriate method to help ensure this in the event of inappropriate practice. The nurse plays a very important role in this issue and in the whole process of pain intensity assessment, which was confirmed by the results of the research investigation.
