Choroby spôsobené vdychovaním azbestového prachu

Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis was to describe the impact of inhalation of asbestos fibers on human health, diseases that this exposure to asbestos brings with it and to offer an overview of the number and development of occupational diseases caused by asbestos fibers both in the Czech Republic and the world. By describing the historical development and characteristics of asbestos, we gained an overview of its benefits and long-term use. Obviously, uprooting a material with such excellent properties and so used will be quite challenging. The diseases caused by inhalation of asbestos fibers are described in the second chapter. All the diseases with the exception of acute pleuritis are eligible as occupational diseases under Act 290/1995 Coll. as amended. In the third chapter we described the development of diseases caused by asbestos fibers both in the Czech Republic and in the world, and we described the legislation governing the Czech Republic on asbestos in Chapter 4. To demonstrate a clear link between work with asbestos products and subsequent diseases, we described a case study of Johns Manville Chapter 5. SÚHRN Cieľom tejto bakalárskej práce bolo popísať vplyv inhalácie azbestových vlákien na ľudské zdravie, choroby, ktoré táto expozícia voči azbestu so sebou prináša a ponúknuť prehľad počtu a vývoja chorôb z povolania spôsobených azbestovými vláknami ako v ČR, tak i vo svete. Popisom historického vývoja a charakteristiky azbestu sme získali prehľad o jeho benefitoch a dlhdobom požívaní. Je zrejmé, že vykoreniť materiál s tak výbornými vlastnosťami a tak zaužívaný, bude pomerne náročné. Choroby, ktoré spôsobuje inhalácia azbestových vlákien, sme popísali v druhej kapitole. Všetky, okrem akútnej pleuritídy, sú uznateľné ako choroby z povolania podľa zákona 290/1995 Zb. v znení neskorších prepisov. V tretej kapitole sme popísali vývoj ochorení spôsobených azbestovými vláknami ako v ČR, tak vo svete a legislatíva, ktorou sa ČR v otázke azbestu riadi, sme popísali v kapitole 4. Aby sme preukázali zjavnú súvislosť s prácou s azbestovými produktami a následným ochorením, uviedli sme v kapitole 5 kazuistiku spoločnosti Johns Manville. Konštatujeme, že problematika azbestu ešte nie je doriešená, avšak diskusia na túto tému na celosvetovej úrovni znamená, že sa inhalácia azbestových vlákien prestala brať na ľahkú váhu.
