Korespondenční seminář M&M: mimoškolní aktivita pro nadané studenty

Abstract

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na jednu z možností mimoškolních aktivit matematicky nadaných studentů, tj. na řešení korespondenčního semináře. První část čtenáře seznamuje s organizací a zvláštnostmi korespondenčního semináře M&M. Následuje teoretická část pojednávající o nadaných v obecné psychologické a pedagogické rovině. Hlavní část práce je věnována hlubšímu pohledu na řešitele semináře. Dotazníková šetření, rozhovory a ankety mezi nimi poskytly mnoho informací o jejich osobním i školním životě, včetně osobního a odborného přínosu korespondenčního semináře. Je na ně pohlíženo jako na nadané, protože mají s nadanými mnoho společných charakteristik. Především pak výsledky dotazníkového šetření nabízí mnoho podnětů pro práci učitele s nadanými studenty.

This diploma thesis is focused on the M&M Correspondence Seminar, an out-of school activity for students gifted in mathematics. The thesis deals preliminarily with the problems of organizing a correspondence seminar. A theoretical discussion of gifted and talented students in a pedagogical and psychological context follows. The principal part of the thesis studies the experimental data that have been gathered from M&M participants by means of question forms, interviews and opinion polls, providing information about the personal and school lives of the participants, as well as both the personal and vocation benefits of the seminar to them. Characteristic signs of gifted and talented students in the data are identified and discussed. These discussions offer many impulses for teacher's work with gifted and talented students.
