Možnosti screeningu kognice u seniorů

Abstract

This Bachelor thesis deals with cognitive functions of the elderly and the options of screening examination of these functions. The goal of this thesis is to describe and compare the most used screening tests in the Czech Republic and their practical aspects. The literary overview part describes the current elderly population and shortly characterizes cognitive functions with focus on their changes due to normal ageing. It then goes on to differentiate between screening and complex neuropsychological examination and shows an overview of selected screening tests of cognition and possibilities of their use. In the second part a research is designed, which should verify the relationship between the level and the type of achieved education of the elderly, their career choice and the results of selected screening cognition tests. The goal of the research is to shine a light on the issue of not accounting for local aspects while using education bound norms in current elderly population in the Czech Republic. Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá kognitivními funkcemi u seniorů a možnostmi screeningového vyšetření těchto funkcí. Cílem je popsat a porovnat nejvíce užívané screeningové testy v rámci České republiky a jejich praktické aspekty. Literárně přehledová část popisuje současnou seniorskou populaci a stručně charakterizuje kognitivní funkce se zaměřením na jejich změny vlivem normálního stárnutí. Dále vymezuje screening vůči komplexnímu neuropsychologickému vyšetření a uvádí přehled vybraných screeningových testů kognice a možnosti jejich užití. V druhé části je navržen výzkum, jenž by měl ověřit vztah mezi úrovní a druhem dosaženého vzdělání seniorů, volbou povolání a výsledky ve vybraných screeningových testech kognice. Cílem výzkumu je upozornit na problematiku nezohledňování místně specifických reálií při používání na vzdělání vázaných norem u současné seniorské populace v České republice.
