BT Libuše Reichelová 25405630@fsv.cuni.cz Abstract of the bachelor thesis "Integration particularities of Cubans into Czech society" This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of integration of immigrants, in particular of Cubans. The assumption is that different ethnic groups engage in different integration strategies. That is why it is important to study these individual groups and not just immigrants as a whole. The process of integration is essential for problem-free coexistence of people from different cultures. The correct adjustment of this process will become even more important since the mobility of people is still increasing. The work is based on the dimensional typology of social integration which distinguishes four dimensions: structural, cultural, interactive and identification dimension. The aim of the work was to describe the process of integration of Cubans into Czech society, to reveal and describe the obstacles which impede the successful process of integration and possibly discuss potential solutions. The secondary aim was to describe the Czech system setting in connection with the integration of immigrants for the integrity of the topic, this description is part of the theoretical passage. BP Libuše Reichelová 25405630@fsv.cuni.cz Abstrakt bakalářské práce s názvem "Specifika integrace Kubánců do české společnosti" Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem integrace přistěhovalců, konkrétně pak Kubánců. Předpokladem je, že různé národností skupiny volí při integraci odlišné strategie, a proto má smysl je zkoumat individuálně, a nikoliv jako celek. Proces integrace je nezbytný pro bezproblémové soužití zástupců odlišných kultur a jeho korektní nastavení bude hrát při současné zvyšující se mobilitě lidí čím dál tím větší roli. Práce je založena na dimenzionální typologii sociální integrace, která rozlišuje čtyři dimenze: strukturální, kulturní, interaktivní a identifikační. Cílem práce bylo popsat proces integrace Kubánců do české společnosti, odhalit a popsat překážky, které úspěšné integraci brání a případně diskutovat možná řešení. Podružným cílem bylo pro celistvost tématu popsat české systémové nastavení v souvislosti s integrací přistěhovalců, tento popis je součástí teoretické pasáže. Mezi hlavní zjištění patří fakt, že většina respondentů do ČR přicestovala s vidinou zlepšení své ekonomické situace, a tak převažující strategií bylo co nejdříve po příjezdu nalézt zaměstnání.
