Hodnotové orientace a spokojenost mladých dospělých

Abstract

Předmětem této rigorózní práce jsou hodnoty, hodnotové orientace a spokojenost u mladých dospělých. V teoretické části jsou vysvětleny pojmy hodnoty, hodnotové orientace a životní spokojenost a je popsáno období mladé dospělosti. Dále jsou prezentována dosavadní zjištění v oblasti vztahu hodnot, hodnotových orientací a spokojenosti. Empirická část kvantitativní povahy se nejprve v explorativní části snaží o vymezení hodnotových orientací a následně zkoumá souvislosti nalezených hodnotových orientací se spokojeností celkovou i v dílčích oblastech. Výzkum byl proveden na vzorku 726 mladých dospělých. V explorativní části je představeno více možných dělení hodnotových orientací. Jako nejvhodnější se jevilo rozdělení do dvou a šesti shluků (hodnotových orientací). Následně jsou testovány hypotézy týkající se hodnotových orientací a spokojenosti. Z výsledků vyplývá, že se hodnotové orientace statisticky významně liší v celkové životní spokojenosti. Tento výzkum dává impuls k důkladnějšímu prošetření hodnotových orientací a zkoumání souvislostí hodnotových orientací s celkovou životní spokojeností a spokojeností v dílčích oblastech. Rigorous Thesis focuses on values, value orientations, and the level of life satisfaction of young adults. The theoretical part of the Thesis defines the following terms: values, value orientations, life satisfaction, and period of young adulthood. Further, the most recent findings concerning interconnection between values, value orientations, and life satisfaction are introduced. The empirical part of quantitative nature firstly contains in its explorative part a definition of value orientation, subsequently, the relations between the explored value orientations and satisfaction is examined - both in the case of overall life satisfaction and the level of life satisfaction in regarded subareas. Research sample accounts for 726 young adults. The explorative section introduces several possible divisions of value orientations. Aggregations of 2 - 6 value orientations proved to be most appropriate. Finally, hypotheses regarding value orientations and life satisfaction are tested. The results show that the individual value orientations statistically significantly differ from each other in regard of the overall level of life satisfaction.
